Every once in a while the household will go into an insanity bit. The members
will get together and work on what has become known as the "GRAND PROJECT".
Ile du Dragon
Dormant Baronial Investiture
On the 5th of March A.S.39, the Shire of Ile du Dragon Dormant became Barony.
The Golden Oak Inn members took it upon themself to create new garb for one of
their own and her partner in life, who were both elevated as Baron and Baroness.
Valeria was dressed in four layers of Kosode and Hakamas and Getas. Pellandres
was sporting a St-Louis tunic with hose and hood.

MAGNIFICENT! A chef d'oeuvre! Need we say more? Pellandres' garb... so beautiful
and period!!!! Everything's PERIOD!!!! Incredible! Yes indeed, Valeria had tears
when she first saw Pellandres in his spiffy garb. Every detail is to be
commended. And, well, the kimonos and hakamas... not to mention the getas...
gosh! We still can't get over it all. We're quite simply overwhelmed and unsure
how to thank the artisans who worked on the Investiture garb project. Exquisite
work by generous, loving and extraordinary people. So much talent! How can one
ever fully express their gratitude and appreciation? For now, we have the power
of words... and so we send our most heartfelt thanks and blessings for taking
the time to honor us in such a majestic way. We are deeply touched... and
thoroughly impressed.
