Estela's Projects

The new stays under construction. They are mostly corded with wool yarn, the fronts are boned with plastic cable ties. I have read that the cable ties are a little easier on the body and the ends can be rounded nicely to prevent poking through to the body. I like the way the channels are nice and narrow, but dislike having to tape two cable ties together to get a long enough bone. For the next set of stays I'm going to track down some of the plastic whalebone and see how that works. New photos of the stays will come soon, I'm finished cording and am working on the eyelets.
