Fecches(Lentils and Herbs)

1 onion
1tbsp olive oil
2 ˝ c lentils
6 c water
˝ tsp ginger
2 tsp sage
2 bouillon cubes
1 tbsp parsley
1 tsp pepper
1 cup water
1. Chop onion. Sauté in oil till caramelized. 2. Put water and lentils in a pot. Bring to boil, then simmer about 1 hour or till soft, and liquid is absorbed. Puree if desired. 3. In separate pot, mix all other ingredients (onions, ginger, sage, bouillon, parsley, pepper, and water). Bring to a boil to make “a gode broth”, and then add to the cooked lentils.
(don’ t add it all if looks like it will get too moosh-y)
